The GiftYa logo was conceived as artwork, there is no actual font as all lettering was developed graphically. Behind the brand name, the logo reveals a pick-shaped icon with a small peel on its sharpest vertex. The pick is the actual packaging of the GiftYa and the peel is the action consumers take to open the gift wrapping. In the logo, the pick is always slightly peeled.
Logo with Tagline assignment_returned
We have developed a tagline for GiftYa: The thought that counts. The tagline will be used throughout various applications, articles, content, etc., in whichever standard font may be used in those applications. When used with the logo, the tagline needs to be used, as a graphic file. The tagline is NOT meant to be constructed separately from the logo. The tagline color matches the purple on the “Gift” portion of the logo, except when used against a dark background, in which case it is white. The tagline is spelled out in lowercase, except for the first capital “T” and has no period at the end. The font for the tagline is Josefin Sans Bold, as discussed in the Type section.
Boxed Logo assignment_returned
For certain applications, we have designed a boxed version of the logo, which works particularly well with complex backgrounds. While not the preferred, nor default use of the GiftYa logo, we encourage you to use it when the colors in the background do not fit well with the shape or colors of the GiftYa logo. For more direction on when to use this logo, please refer to the examples that follow.
Condensed Logo assignment_returned
We have developed a condensed version of the logo for specific applications. Please do NOT use this condensed logo unless previously approved by in writing by the GiftYa marketing team. Common applications for this logo are social media and mobile applications.
It is important that the appearance of the logo remains consistent. The logo should not be misinterpreted, modified, or added to. No attempt should be made to alter the logo in any way. Its orientation, color and composition should remain as indicated in this document — there are no exceptions.
All versions of the logo have an exclusion zone which is defined as x, always measured by the width of the dot above the letter ‘i’. The minimum clear space of 2x should always be applied. Try to maximize clear space whenever possible.
Establishing a minimum size ensures that the impact and legibility of the logo is not compromised in application. The minimum height of our logo is 21px on screen, or 0.25in (6.35mm) in print. In exceptional circumstances, smaller sizes for print may be necessary (e.g. on event merchandise). In such cases, legibility should always be your top priority.
